HEDRICK — Marilyn Elizabeth Mull, 71, of Hedrick, passed on the 25th of May 2013 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney.
Marilyn was born, Aug. 4, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wis. Marilyn was a perfectionist; she loved to be challenged at work, SIEDA, where she was an Executive Assistant for 29 years. She was an avid gardener; constantly outdoors during the warmer season to ensure the beauty of her flowers. She also had a deep love for birds and reading. Those close to Marilyn knew there was always a book within an arms reach of her. Marilyn was passionate about her grandchildren, children, and her work. They were her life and she was very proud of each.
Her family includes her three children; Patricia Wessel, of Savannah, Ga., Nichol (Bobby) Mallik, of Chapel Hill, N.C., Jonathan (Melissa) Breitenbucher, of Des Moines; and five beautiful grandchildren: Aiden and Gabriel Breitenbucher, and Meera, Annika and Nina Mallik.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne W. Mull; and a brother, Richard Schaffer.
Marilyn wished to be cremated; the family will be holding a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a charitable contribution to the American Cancer Society.
