---- — OSKLAOOSA — Beulah Ann Cameron , 77, of Oskaloosa, passed away March 15, 2014, at Crystal Height Care Center.
Beulah Ann Shipman Cameron was born Dec. 10, 1936, in Oskaloosa to Roy Lewis Shipman and Opal Irene (Griggs) Shipman.
She was a 1957 graduate of Eddyville high school. attended grades schools in Albia, Rose Hill, and Eddyville. She was united in marriage to James Edgar Cameron May 18, 1969.
Ann, as she preferred to be called, Worked at several business around the Oskaloosa area, Continental Overall Factory , Red Rooster Diner and Mahaska Manor nursing home. In 1969 she became a homemaker and helped her husband with the family business Cameron construction Co. She enjoyed painting and drawing, bird watching, working in her flower garden and loved her horses. Her family includes 3 children and their spouse’s, Julie and Eddie Rust, of Pleasantville, Kimberly and Chris Daniels, of Monroe, James Edgar (Eddie) Cameron Jr., of Oskaloosa; grandchildren Christopher Daniels and Kelsey Daniels, of Monroe. Four sisters, Doris and Lyle Showman, of Oskaloosa, Margret Wells, of Newton, Nellie Winkleman, of Beacon, and Darlene Briggs, of Ottumwa, and many cousins ,nieces, and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, 3 half-brothers, Leroy Shipman, Harley Shipman and Jack Shipman, also a half-sister Helen Shipman Farnam; 3 nephews, Ronald Hynick, Terry Wells and David Wells.
There will be a grave side service in Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa with Pastor Randall Nichols officiating. April 18th at 1 p.m. with coffee time to follow at the Beacon Town Hall.
