4-H members exhibit projects at state fair

DES MOINES —

DES MOINES — 4-H members from across the state completed projects throughout the year.

As they completed projects, some were turned into 4-H exhibits that were judged and on display at the county fairs.  A selected group of exhibits was chosen during each county fair to represent each county at the Iowa State Fair in August.

Exhibits from Mahaska County ranged from a restored lathe and photos of trucks to braided bread and jars of pickles.

Those exhibitors are listed below along with the ribbon placing they received after being judged at the Iowa State Fair.
