Eddyville museum to open May 4 for summer

EDDYVILLE — The Eddyville Historical Museum will open May 4 for the summer, regular hours are Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 5 p.m. or by appointment. 

The museum will be open the weekend of the Alumni Banquet, May 25, with special hours and displays for the classes having reunions, refreshments will be available.

The Annual Meeting is April 18 at 5 p.m.; special speaker is Wilbur (Web) Vroegh antique dealer, collector and Eddyville Historian. The membership drive is going on now. You can pay your membership before or at the Annual Meeting and have your name in a drawing at the Annual meeting for a $20 gas card.

Bingo is the first Thursday of each month 6:30 at the American Legion Hall. Come and play for a fun time. Change, this April only it will be the third Thursday. 

Museum membership is $5 single, $10 for family and $100 for a lifetime. It may be sent to Martha McGlothlen. Check the Museum out on Facebook.
