Penn's dream season comes to end in Elite 8 battle

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. — Jarrell Turner scored 18 points and pulled down 16 rebounds to lead Robert Morris to a 79-78 triumph over William Penn in a quarterfinal contest Saturday night at the NAIA National Tournament.

The Eagles, who had a 50-37 rebound advantage, will meet Midland in a semfinal game Monday night while the Statesmen ends the season at 24-10.

Kelly Madison sdored a game-high 24 points and added four assists as Alec Schwab tallied 22 points. Erik McGee had four points and 10 rebounds as Blake Walker, playing his last game in a Statesmen uniform, had nine points, nine rebounds and six assists. Roberts Baltruns scored 12 points before fouling out.
