OSKALOOSA — Mahaska Health Partnership will host a Business After Hours Thursday, Aug. 22, from 4:30 to 6:30 in the Cedar Bluff Learning Center (entrance # 3) on the MHP Campus. The Oskaloosa Area Chamber & Development Group Diplomats encourage people to attend.

“We have welcomed nine new medical providers to our staff in the past year, so we want to make sure the community has an opportunity to meet them,” MHP CEO Jay Christensen explained.

Medical staff being honored at the event include: Family Practice Physicians Drs. Peter and Tara Hoftiezer; Dr. Bridget Shariat, who will also be delivering babies; Emergency Services Physicians Dr. Amanda Moreno and Dr. Ben Oldson, who will also be filling a Hospitalist role; Adult Nurse Practitioner Megan Childers; and Family Nurse Practitioners Chris Beaird, Eva Sietsema and Lisa Smith.

“We are very excited at the high caliber of medical providers who have joined our medical staff, and we invite the business community to come meet them at the Chamber Business After Hours,” Christensen said.
