Tickets available for 'Georgiana'

Tickets are now on sale for “Georgiana,” an alternately heartwarming and heartbreaking musical by Iola Powell Cadwallader, that will take the stage July 17, 18, and 19 at 7 p.m.

Georgiana” follows the life of Iola's family as they “Go West!” to Kansas. Together they face the Dust Bowl, Great Depression and World War II, but at its heart, “Georgiana” is ultimately a celebration of “family fun.”

Tickets are on sale now: $8 for adults, $4 for students, and $20 for a family pass. Visit  www.georgedaily.org, call (641) 672-0799, or drop by the box office to get yours. Note that family passes are only available over the phone or at the box office.

First performed in 1980, Director Randy Wright is using the resources of the George Daily Auditorium to produce it on an even bigger scale.

This musical features more than 80 cast members from Oskaloosa, and countless more behind the scenes who have donated their time and skills.
