OHS students raise funds for Philippines typhoon relief

OSKALOOSA — The Oskaloosa High School Student Council, along with National Honors Society members, will host a murder mystery dinner night on March 28 to raise funds to help victims of the typhoon that hit the Philippines in November 2013.

The dinner will be held at 6 p.m. in the large gym of the Oskaloosa Senior High.

Tickets can be purchased at Hy-Vee Food Store for $10 until March 27.

The Oskaloosa Chamber Orchestra will perform as attendants are served a spaghetti dinner with meatballs, garlic toast, salad, and baked goods for dessert.

Afterwards, they will walk around the gym and speak to possible suspects in order to find clues leading the to the discovery of who committed the murder. Audience participation will include walking around, mingling with characters played by actors, and collaborating with fellow detectives.

No costumes are necessary.
