With unprecedented maneuvering, the Democrat-controlled Iowa House added “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” to the list of protected classes in the Iowa Code, making it illegal to discriminate against gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, or transgender individuals.

This past weekend provided wonderful opportunities for enjoying life. The three major theatrical entities in town: William Penn University Theater Department (WPU Theater), the Oskaloosa High School Drama Department (OHS Drama), and the Oskaloosa Community Theater (OCT) offered various projects for our viewing pleasure.
